KEEPING YOUR POOL CLEAN AND HEALTHY
Every swimming pool requires sanitation and filtration to control the growth of bacteria and algae.
It is widely recognised that adding a small amount of chlorine daily is the best way to sanitise your pool. There are numerous methods to chlorinate your swimming pool. However, none are quite as simple as “salt chlorination”.
The Sun-Chlor solar salt water system is designed to electrically generate the proper amount of chlorine keeping your pool sparkling clean 365 days a year.

THE HUMAN BODY PREFERS SALT WATER POOLS
The reason people comment on the beautiful silky feeling of saltwater pools is directly related to the salinity of the water and that of the human body.
In fact, most people cannot tell that there is chlorine in the water at all. It is known that the salinity of the human body is about 4500 ppm (parts per million). If the human body is placed in fresh water, osmosis occurs through our skin and eye membranes which is irritating to say the least.
The effect of this is greatly decreased in salt water because the osmosis effect through out biological membrane is greatly reduced as a result of the salinity levels being closer to out natural levels.
HOW TO MAKE AN ELECTRODE CLEANING SOLUTION
Scale will accumulate on the electrode and eventually affect the production of chlorine.
If allowed to build up unchecked the scale can damage the electrode.
The rate at which the scale accumulates on the electrode varies from pool to pool.
Scale is influenced mostly by the hardness of the pool water.
To make the electrode cleaning solution use one cup of pool water added to 8 cups of acid. Never add water to acid – always add acid to water.
Submerge the electrode into the solution until it becomes clean.
