TIKA SOLAR QUOTATION / PRO FORMA TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Payments have to reflect on our bank account before goods are released. No cheques accepted.
2. Any item not specified is excluded from quotation. delivery, commissioning, call-out fees, installation and electrical work are excluded unless specifically quoted for.
3. Tika Solar is not responsible for any loss or damage caused while goods are in transit where the customer has rejected our quotation for special packaging.
4. Where goods are not delivered by Tika Solar, or collected by the Customer, but is collected or delivered to an independent carrier, collection/delivery to the carrier shall be deemed to be delivery to the Customer. Where the Goods have been delivered to the carrier, Tika Solar is not responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit.
5. Warranty & Returns. Units are warranted against faulty workmanship and components for a period of twelve months from date of supply (solar batteries excluded).
6. While Tika Solar provides advice regarding the usage of goods supplied, the suitability of the goods for the use contemplated by the client is the sole responsibility of the client, and Tika Solar will in no way be responsible for the suitability of the goods sold for any particular end use.
7. Inverters, batteries, solar panels and any other components that are included on the Tika Solar quotation, are deemed to be the property of the Client as soon as the quote has been accepted, and the stock has been purchased from Tika Solar’s suppliers.
8. If a Product/s is purchased from Tika Solar but neither the system design or installation/commissioning was done by Tika Solar, the warranty only applies to the product/s supplied and not to the functioning of a system in which the product/s is/are used. There are no returns or warranties on product/s incorrectly sized, installed or damaged through incorrect system design.
9. If a Product/s is purchased from Tika Solar, the system design was done by Tika Solar but the installation was not done by Tika Solar, the warranty only applies to the product/s supplied and not to the functioning of the system in which the product/s is/are used.
10. Tika Solar cannot guarantee the functioning or performance of a system if not installed by Tika Solar.
11. Tika Solar will supply a Solar C.O.C once Customer provides an industrial/residential electrical C.O.C.
12. Tika Solar can supply an industrial/residential electrical C.O.C. at an additional cost should customer require one.
13. No customer is allowed to make any changes on the system or settings without consulting Tika Solar. If any setting changes are found, all Warranties will be void.
14. Quotation values may be adjusted if installation instructions are altered after acceptance of quote. This includes (but is not limited to) – the installation location, method or configuration.
15. Loan units: Please note that Tika Solar does not supply ‘loan units’ for use in cases where faulty equipment needs to be sent in for repairs and/or diagnostics. This applies to any hardware that forms part of the existing installed system.
16. Returns: In cases where goods have been supplied correctly and without fault, and the Customer wants to return such items, Tika Solar will firstly attempt to arrange that such goods be returned to the initial supplier. In cases where suppliers will accept returns, an handling fee of 25% of sale price will be levied by Tika Solar.
In cases where Tika Solar is unable to arrange that the goods are returned, Tika Solar will not accept responsibility, or facilitate such a return. The Customer will remain responsible for payment of such items that cannot be returned.
By accepting our quotation, we accept that the client has read and agreed to the terms and conditions as stated above.
